Carriage & Conditions
We aim to provide you with a good, reliable service and high quality products that you are completely satisfied with, and therefore we ask you to read the following terms & conditions carefully before placing an order with us.
Making a purchase
You can place an order on our shop page at any time of the day or night, but if you prefer, you can order by telephone between Monday and Friday, 9am - 4pm by ringing our dedicated Wheatgrass ordering line 01981 241336.
Please include with your order.
- A full correct name, address and postcode. No delivery can be made without these details, and no liability can be accepted for deliveries misplaced due to an incorrect address or postcode.
- A phone number where you can be contacted on the due delivery day
- Your credit or debit card details for payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Delta, Solo and Electron cards
- Special instructions, signing & checking deliveries: We recommend your delivery is checked and signed for on receipt, but if you cannot sign for it, please ensure that there will be someone who can check and sign for it on your behalf. Unsigned deliveries can be agreed with us on the understanding that Aconbury Sprouts Ltd will not be responsible for any loss or damage. Please read the section below on signing & checking deliveries before agreeing to receive your delivery unsigned or unchecked.
Terms & Conditions
Delivery Schedule
Despatch days: Monday - Thursday
Delivery days: Tuesday - Friday
Orders received by 12 noon will be despatched the same day for delivery on the following day between 8am and 5pm. Orders received after noon will be despatched the following day except Thursdays when orders will be despatched on the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday to avoid being in transit at the weekend. Saturday deliveries are possible but incur a surcharge of £13.00. Fresh items are covered and protected by secure packaging in sturdy boxes.
Orders to Ireland or Northern Ireland are sent by road and take up to 3 working days. We cannot therefore send Frozen products to these destinations.
If your order hasn't arrived by 5pm on the scheduled day of delivery, please contact us within 24 hours.
If we are out of stock, we will let you know and send the goods as soon as they are available.
Signing & checking deliveries
Upon receipt of your order you will be asked to sign for the goods received as in good condition and the correct quantity as ordered. Our priority is to make sure that all our goods reach you in good condition. All of our trays of fresh wheatgrass, snow pea shoots and similar perishable items leave our site in good condition, in boxes the correct way up.
Very occasionally a sub-standard product or a product that has been damaged during transit may reach you. If this occurs, when signing for the delivery please add 'damaged item'by your signature, stating which item is damaged, and contact us. If the damage is very severe you are entitled to refuse to accept the delivery of an item or an order.
If you have asked for the delivery to be left with a neighbour who will sign for the delivery, please ask if they can check the perishable items in the delivery for you. If this is not possible, and you require the delivery to be left without being checked or signed for, please note that in that case we will not be able to accept responsibility for claims of loss of the whole or part of the order. However if there is a problem with an order that has at your request been left without a signature please do let us know and we will try to sort the problem. Please let us know if do not want the courier to try to deliver your order to a neighbour if you are out.
If you have received a sub-standard product or product that has been damaged during transit, please contact us within 24 hours to notify us of this and if damage has occurred we will credit you, or replace the goods free of charge.
Prices
We update our prices regularly, and the prices which apply will be those stated on the website at the time of order. Payment in British pounds sterling only.
Credit Card Security
SSL encryption is installed at this site to ensure your credit and debit card details are safe. We also take credit or debit card details by telephone.
Privacy Policy
We do not disclose buyer information to third parties. All information is collected lawfully under the Data Protection Act 1998. It is used only and directly by Aconbury Sprouts to facilitate the despatch of orders. We may also use contact information to elicit feedback from you about our service and send out occasional newsletters.
Cancellation Rights
For non-perishable items, there is a 7 working-day cancellation period from the day following receipt of goods. Customers are required to send notice of cancellation in writing, by fax or email, and return the goods unopened and undamaged within 30 days. The return can be arranged by Aconbury Sprouts, and will be charged at cost. A full refund will be made within 30 days of receipt of goods.
This cancellation period does not apply to our perishable items.
Complaints
Aconbury Sprouts Ltd aims for full customer satisfaction. However, if you are not completely happy with your purchase, or any part of our service, then please contact us within 48 hours of delivery by email at

Carriage Charges
We deliver direct to your door throughout the UK, via overnight courier. Our carriage rates depend on the weight of the consignment, and the delivery location. Our website calculates this automatically when you place an order via our shop, but to help you decide what to buy and how much it will cost to send, please see carriage charges on the following tables:
