About Aconbury Sprouts

Aconbury Sprouts is a speciality food business based in rural Herefordshire, near the Welsh Borders and has been growing 'living foods', that is fresh, organic and unprocessed sprouted seeds and pulses, since 1985.

We are committed to the highest standards for hygiene and quality. We sprout our seeds under controlled conditions using only fresh water and then we chill and pack the sprouts to ensure that they reach our customers in perfect condition.

We are passionate about organic foods and as a long-standing member of the Soil Association, we buy organically grown seeds and none of our seeds are genetically modified. We are also committed to environmentally friendly business policies, minimizing packaging and encouraging recycling.

We work closely with Living Foods nutritional experts in the development of highly nutritious new sprouts, and grasses for juicing, with the aim of offering a unique and delicious high quality range.

We sell our organic sprouted seeds and pulses nationally through a wide range of independent health food and organic retailers. Because they need to be kept chilled, we don't sell them by mail order. We sell our fresh organic wheatgrass, fresh snow pea shoots, and wheatgrass requisites by mail order, and through selected health, wholefood or organic retailers.
